Six impossible things before breakfast. Go.

Because I didn’t have much time, I decided to stuff my gifts to my family in old brown paper bags (I have lots of them, thanks to the city government of Muntinlupa who prohibited the use of plastic bags in retail stores and restaurants). I just used a pin, a ribbon, and a necklace to personalize them and somehow make them look more “creative”. I think they turned out cute. Or at least, cuter than my original plan of just sealing everything with scotch tape. Brown paper bags will always have an element of cheapness to them, but I say they’re easy, somehow rustic, and recycled — so yay for the environment (and sheer convenience)! 

Also, I had the cutest Christmas nails. Got them for free care of my co-worker whose passion in life seems to be nail art. Jokingly told her that I wanted a Rudolph on my nails. She took it seriously and finished both my hands in around 30 minutes. Now that’s creativity. Some of us have to resort to prettifying brown paper bags in a desperate attempt for it.
